Privacy Policy
Last updated 13 August 2026.
These policies were drafted in good faith to describe what Unizune actually does with your data. They are not legal advice and have not been reviewed by a lawyer. If you need a contract you can rely on commercially, have one drafted.
The short version
Unizune AI stores your email address, your chats, and the personas and templates you save. Your prompts are sent to third-party AI processors to generate a reply. There is no advertising, no tracking pixels, no analytics scripts, and nothing is sold to anyone.
What we collect
- Your email address. Required to sign in — there is no password to store. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your name and profile picture URL from Google.
- Your chats. The messages you send and the replies you receive, so your history is there when you come back.
- Your saved personas and templates. Content you write.
- Usage records. Timestamps, response times, which mode was used, approximate token counts and error codes — for capacity planning and abuse prevention.
- The IP address of a login-code request, kept with that code so abuse can be rate limited.
What we do not collect
- No payment details — the service is free and there is no billing system.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking identifiers.
- No third-party analytics or session-recording scripts.
- No contact lists, files or accounts beyond what you paste into a chat.
How your prompts are processed
This is the disclosure that matters most, so it is stated plainly: Unizune AI does not run its own language models. To generate a reply, the contents of your conversation — your messages, the recent history of that chat, and any persona instruction attached to it — are transmitted over an encrypted connection to one or more third-party AI inference providers.
Those providers are currently Groq, Google (Gemini API), OpenRouter, Mistral AI, Cohere and Hugging Face. Which one handles a given message depends on availability at that moment and is not something you select. This list may change; this section will be updated when it does.
Each provider processes your text under its own terms and privacy policy, and its own data-retention rules apply to what it receives. We send only the conversation content needed to produce a reply — never your email address, name or account identifier.
Do not paste anything into Unizune AI that you would not be comfortable sending to a third-party processor: no passwords, API keys, payment details, government identifiers, health records or other people's personal data.
Shared chats
A chat is private until you explicitly share it. Turning on sharing creates a public link that anyone holding it can read without signing in, and that page is intended to be indexable by search engines. Anything already in the conversation becomes public the moment you share it, and any message you add afterwards is published too.
Turning sharing off makes the link stop resolving immediately, and deleting the chat does the same. Copies already made by search engines or other people are outside our control.
Cookies
Unizune AI sets only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect against cross-site request forgery. There are no advertising, analytics or profiling cookies, so there is no consent banner to click.
How long we keep it
- Chats and saved content: until you delete them, or until you delete your account.
- Login codes: ten minutes, then invalidated; the records are purged daily.
- Usage records: retained for capacity planning and abuse investigation. They contain no message content.
- Deleted accounts: marked deleted immediately, which revokes access and unpublishes any shared chats. Contact us if you want the underlying rows erased rather than deactivated.
Your choices
- Delete an individual chat at any time from the chat list.
- Delete your whole account from the app, which signs you out everywhere and unpublishes anything you had shared.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or ask for erasure, by emailing unizune@unizune.com.
Security
Traffic is served over HTTPS. Authentication tokens are stored in httpOnly cookies that JavaScript cannot read. Provider API keys are encrypted at rest and never sent to a browser. There is no password database because the product does not use passwords.
No system is perfectly secure, and this one is small and independently run. Treat it accordingly when deciding what to paste into it.
Children
Unizune AI is not directed at children under 13, and accounts should not be created for them. If you believe a child has created an account, email unizune@unizune.com and it will be removed.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is handled, the date at the top of this page changes and the relevant section is rewritten — not quietly amended.
Questions, data requests or complaints: unizune@unizune.com.
