Cold outreach that isn't spam

Short, specific first-contact email with a real reason to reply.

Use this template

Opens the composer with the prompt filled in. Free — an emailed code is all you need.

The prompt

Copy it, or use the button above to drop it straight into the composer. Everything in [SQUARE BRACKETS] is a slot you fill in.

Write a cold email.

Who I'm writing to: [ROLE, COMPANY, WHAT THEY DO]
Specific thing I noticed about them: [THE REAL OBSERVATION — a page, a launch, a job post]
What I do: [ONE SENTENCE]
The single outcome I can create for them: [SPECIFIC RESULT]
Proof: [ONE RELEVANT EXAMPLE]
The ask: [ONE SMALL, EASY-TO-SAY-YES-TO ACTION]

Rules:
- Under 120 words total.
- First line must be about them and must be something I could only write after actually looking. No "I hope this finds you well", no "I came across your website".
- One idea, one ask. No paragraph of credentials.
- The ask must be answerable with one word or one click.
- No fake urgency, no fake familiarity, no "quick question" bait.
- Subject line under 45 characters, specific, no clickbait.

Then give me one follow-up email for 5 days later that adds new value rather than repeating the ask.

When to use it

  • You know the product truth and need copy built around it
  • You're writing to a specific buyer with a specific objection
  • One piece of work needs reshaping for several channels

Which mode suits it

Marketing copy needs options to choose between, so more variation helps — then narrow with Precise once you know the angle.

  • Creative — more angles, more expressive
